New Connections is a ministry of New Journey United Church of Christ in Hutchinson MN; an Open and Affirming congregation, celebrating the beautiful diversity of God’s creation, including humanity, and creating an ever-lengthening table to welcome more guests.

We are followers of Jesus, first and foremost.  When creeds or doctrines or even other writings from the Bible contradict the teachings and life of Jesus, we choose the way of Jesus.

We’re not Jesus.  We’re going to get it wrong sometimes.  In this resource, however, as in our worshiping community we strive to approach life and faith through lenses of compassion, curiosity, joy, hope, deep peace, and most of all love.
